Minor Progress for a Saturday

Well, I was able to get the front porch staked so that it can be dug out -- since I forgot to do so before...  The first picture below show this, but it isn't very easy to see it...  You get the idea ;)

And, then I made a ladder that resembles stairs for storm cellar access...  It is 2'6" wide, so it should fit below a 3'x3' access hatch nicely...  It turned out to be VERY heavy, and so it took some doing for me to drag it across the footer (without knocking a bunch of dirt into it), and then get it down the 8' cellar...  As you can see in the second and third pictures, I was able to do it!
