Slow Friday Progress

Well, I think that from here on out, every day will be relatively "slow" progress...  The framing goes so quickly that it sure makes the rest of this seem like snail pace!  Hopefully, we'll get some more work done today, but wanted to take some pictures in the daylight, and take a break while posting them...

We took advantage of some nice weather today to move the dog house into position -- beside the house so the dogs can't get around it (and get their cables caught up underneath it)...  I still have to finish covering the peak with something to keep the water out, but we needed to get it out of the garage last week...

While I was out there, I also decided to take a better picture of that garage door from outside (since my wife hasn't seen it yet)...

And, I was able to finish framing the wall around the whirlpool and the one beside the shower in the master bath.  The wall between the whirlpool and the toilet is 5 feet tall -- for a little privacy without creating too much shadow from the light.  The "perspective" isn't great because it isn't a lot of space to stand back and view for the camera, and also because my camera viewer is cracked...

This last picture is of the wiring in the kitchen where we will have 5 pendant lights over the L-shaped island.  The boxes had to be dropped down 2.5 inches for insulation, fir strips, and drywall...
